Claire Cross is a seasoned professional bassist, having forged an impressive career performing alongside some of Australia’s most iconic artists as part of concerts including Her Sound, Her Story (2016, Melbourne Music Week), Stand By Your Woman (2017 & 2018, Hamer Hall) and SPIRE Ensemble at various festivals. She has also performed and toured with groups including Dorsal Fins, Ella Thompson, DANIKA, The Outdoor Type, Oh Pep! and Phia.

She has also performed on recordings by Ella Thompson, Best Western, The Outdoor Type, Harry Cook,
Stella Anning, and Jessica Lorraine.

Now based in Berlin, she plays bass in the ensemble for the Maxim Gorki Theater’s Unser Deutschlandmärchen
